Introduction:

At Akhepran International Academy, located in the heart of the historic Fox Hill

Village on New Providence Island, The Bahamas, we are committed to providing

an outstanding educational experience to our students, with a particular focus on

Aviation, Aerospace, and Geospatial Education. Our mission is to equip the next

generation with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in high-demand fields

that are shaping the future of our world.

As the global aviation industry faces an unprecedented pilot shortage, with a

projected need for 649,000 to 674,000 pilots between 2024 and 2043, it is more

important than ever to invest in educational programs that prepare young people

to step into this growing field. The aviation industry is expanding at a rapid pace,

and Akhepran International Academy is proud to play a key role in training the

next generation of pilots, engineers, and aerospace professionals.

For 14 years, Akhepran has partnered with experts like Captain Desiree Bodie of

the Royal Bahamas Police Force and Mr. Frederick Smith, an Aviation Captain and

Instructor, to offer a specialized Aviation Flight Training Program aimed at

preparing students for entry into aviation universities or apprentice flight training

programs. Akhepran scholars made headline television news, when it was

discovered that 14 year old students were flying planes in training. The students

attended numerous field trips to air traffic control tower, airport securities

department as well as on board aircrafts. Additionally, they traveled to NASA

Kennedy Space Center in Orlando Florida. These were powerful experiences for

the students until the COVID-19 pandemic which forced lock downs, and loss of

money thus stopping this vital program. However, we remain dedicated to

providing students with access to high-quality, hands-on training in this rapidly

growing field.

Our recent partnership with a premiere Flight Simulation and Aviation Training

School is a major step forward in revitalizing our Aviation, Aerospace, and

Geospatial programs. This collaboration will provide our students with a world-

class curriculum that will equip them with the skills needed to thrive in the

aviation and aerospace sectors. However, we need your support to cover

essential expenses that will enable us to fully launch and sustain the program.

education, and geospatial studies, ensuring that students in The Bahamas and

and course materials designed for aviation, aerospace, and geospatial

education. These materials will ensure that students receive up-to-date,

comprehensive, and industry-relevant knowledge as they prepare for

careers in aviation and aerospace.

2. Payment for Qualified Instructors:

To deliver top-tier education, Akhepran needs qualified instructors with

expertise in aviation, aerospace, and geospatial sciences. Donations will be

used to cover the salaries of experienced, certified instructors who can

provide students with the mentorship, training, and support necessary to

succeed in these highly technical fields.

3. Simulation Training Equipment and Field trip Expenses:

Funds will be allocated to acquire flight simulation training equipment,

which will provide students with realistic, hands-on training in a safe and

controlled environment. In addition, donations will support field trip

expenses to aviation museums, airports, and aerospace facilities, where

students can gain practical insights into the industry and experience real-

world applications of their studies.
